Metadata is added to photos by entering the information in the Metadata panel. Metadata summarizes basic information about data, which can make finding and working with

particular instances of data easier.

Histograms

Histograms is a graph that displays the brightness values of the pixels in the photograph.

It’s useful to consult the histogram to see if any image data has been “clipped” or lost in the shadows or highlights

A histogram is used to show how light or dark a photograph is and this is the scientific way to view this information
